Tunisian President Kais Saied announces: “The Government Will Soon Be Formed
Tunisian President Kais Saied announced that the government will soon be formed according to the will of the people, stressing that he will not back down.
During his visit to the Carthage International Airport in the capital, Tunis, Said indicated that he was “pained when some precautionary measures were taken to prevent travel.”
Saeed added: “I ask some honest politicians to wait a little while until the situation stabilizes, and freedom of movement is guaranteed and there is no way to touch it.”
He added: “The current situation requires taking similar measures, the purpose of which is not to limit freedom of movement, but rather to fight corruption.”
He concluded: “The government will soon be formed according to the will of the Tunisian people, and whoever thinks that I will go back is delusional.”
He stressed that “the procedure concerns those who are suspected of corruption and those who smuggle people’s money,” adding: “We are not in a dictatorship and the gallows have not been installed,” stressing that the rights and freedoms in the country are guaranteed.
